This recommendation comes straight from the heart (being the heart of Beccy!). When I initially started working in the pet care industry, I worked for a large kennel. I know how kennels can run. The good and the bad. Woodcroft are simply amazing.

My Jimbo was dumped at the before mentioned kennel where I worked. You can only imagine my worry when it came time to find a decent kennel for him to stay, as we were going away for the weekend. I think I looked at every single kennel in the Sydney area. None made the grade, except Woodcroft.

Jimbo was most concerned and upset when I dropped him off initially. When we returned to pick him up, he was happy to see me as expected. The kicker is when I dropped him off the second time. He didn’t even look back to say good bye to me! He knew where he was and he was very very happy! Since then – I have been a devoted Woodcroft spruiker. Jimbo just loves Woodcroft.

I will also mention my little bird, Rosey. Mr Jimbo and my little Rosy went to Woodcroft while my husband and I were on our Honeymoon. Woodcroft saved Rosey’s life. She got a little distressed being in a new environment, and she must have been commencing a molt and developed an infection. Once a bird shows signs of being sick, they are already pretty sick. Woodcroft spotted this the second she became sick and got vet care in immediately. Within 1 day she was at Pittwater Animal Hospital. The Vet at Pittwater commended Woodcroft for being so on the ball, he attributed Woodcroft to literally saving her life.

So what’s so good about Woodcroft, you may ask? What makes them different to other kennels? Here you go ..

Woodcroft is a small family run business.
Woodcroft CARE about your pet. When you enquire how your pet is, they will make remarks about your dog/cat, that someone could only make should they have spent quality time with your pet.
You aren’t charged additional fee’s just for your dog to have some decent play time (I won’t mention names of offending kennels!). Dogs spend most of their days in the large grassy play areas, playing with friends – all inclusive of the flat rate.
If you ring, they will call you back – every single time.
Your dog is not stuck in a cage/run for the entire day.
The small dog housing is the best – full length windows looking over the pond and rabbits (Jimbo LOVES rabbits!).
Woodcroft staff are just lovely and divine.

I have managed to convert most of my clients to Woodcroft for holiday care. Quite a few of the regulars I see at the local dog parks have also converted to Woodcroft on my recommendation.

One word of warning – make sure you book in early, as they get booked up quickly in school holidays!
